The Story Behind the Shop

My passion for detailed work began when I was 12 years old, after joining the scale modeling club at my grammar school. Even then, I loved working on smaller and smaller scales — to the point where I could barely hold the parts with my bare hands.

When I enrolled at university, this passion, combined with my love for history and vintage objects, led me on a quest to find a new hobby. I remembered that years earlier, I had acquired my grandfather’s vintage watch. I started wearing it — but unfortunately, it stopped working within a week. I took it to a local watchmaker, a kind older gentleman working in a tiny workshop. When he opened the case and showed me the movement inside, something immediately clicked. That was the moment this journey truly began.

As I continued collecting watches, I realized how difficult it was to find reliable servicing. Many of my watches came back with damaged cases, scratched dials, or had to be returned multiple times. Professional service centers were far beyond my student budget. So, I started learning — beginning with small repairs that gradually grew into the ability to service complex mechanical movements. My passion for collecting watches soon evolved into collecting tools and materials as well.

During my university years, I was fortunate to find a part-time job at a watch service center, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience. I met amazing people and held thousands of timepieces in my hands — from affordable to highly collectible watches.

When the COVID pandemic arrived, I had to leave that job for health reasons. With the support of my wonderful girlfriend, we began building our own workshop at home — piece by piece. Each new tool we acquired allowed us to expand our skills, take on more complex projects, and manage every step of the process ourselves. Over time, that small space became much more than a workshop — it became a part of our home and a reflection of our shared passion for the craft.

Through countless conversations with collectors and enthusiasts,we began to truly understand their challenges and frustrations. Many shared that they felt uncomfortable buying watches from unknown sources or struggled to find reliable information about the workings, functions, and maintenance of their timepieces. We also noticed that many clients faced difficulties when trying to sell their watches. They often mentioned how beneficial it would be to have someone they could trust — someone who could transparently communicate between both the seller and the buyer.

Slowly but steadily, these persuasive words and real experiences pushed us forward, shaping the concept of our own shop — not as a traditional brick-and-mortar store, but as a space accessible to everyone. Our goal was to create a service that keeps pace with the modern world while staying true to timeless values: craftsmanship, dedication, and personal connection.

Today, that vision has become reality — thanks to the support of our valued clients and partners. What began as a passion project has grown into a place where expertise meets accessibility, built for true watch lovers everywhere.
